How to control website changes made by employees, developers and contractors
Work reports are useful, but the actual website state matters more: monitoring lets you compare reported work with what really appeared on the pages.
Why a report is not enough
Even a detailed report may miss side effects. A required block can be added while a link, H1, Canonical or template changes elsewhere. CMS updates can affect pages outside the original task. Saved website states provide a more reliable control point.
What to verify after work
After SEO work, inspect metadata, headings, Canonical, Robots, Schema and content. After development, inspect HTTP states, forms, buttons, links, images and visual changes. After content work, check copy, prices, cards and newly added or removed URLs.
How to use history
Saved versions give clients and contractors a shared reference point. Instead of debating what existed before, two scans can be compared directly. This helps with acceptance testing, incident investigation and post-release review.
The role of BYDIFF
BYDIFF groups changes by URL, stores local history and provides Compare for Before → After inspection. It does not automatically judge an employee or contractor; it exposes factual evidence so the user can make that decision.
Verify changes with evidence
BYDIFF shows exactly what changed between checks and preserves history for later comparison.
